Anyone have a millennium yellow C5 with flat black wheels? Please share your feelings and pics. I'm thinking about swapping my Z06 style chrome wheels for flat black on my vert. All comments welcomed.

My first thought as I Have an MY Vert. I think that that would look dirty all the time. Maybe semi gloss, or gloss and machine face mix.

I have a MY 01 vert. IMO: careful as too much black/yellow and it starts to look like a bumble bee.

Polished or chrome is my favorite wheel finish. Good luck with your choice.

I do not have a mil yellow car, but IMO, if you want to go with black wheels, then a gloss or semi-gloss finish would look best.

Here is a picture of my mellenium yellow convertible that I did on my computer, I have chrome SR1 wheels but made them black using the paint program to edit it. I was curious too about what my vette would look like with blacked out wheels, I think black makes it look more like a performance car while the chrome gives it that more classy look, Just my opinion...

Here is my car the day after I bought it. I replaced these two weeks later, but it looked pretty good with the black wheels.

What did you replace it with Shakey?
I'm looking for a new set of either F-14 or CF 10's most likely in silver. Although black looks good, I still like silver or brushed titanium more. Even gunmental, but not sure it will work well with yellow.

I personally prefer a flat/matte wheel over shiney, but can't go wrong with black/yellow.
