C6 Grand Sport wheels on base coupe
I am looking to buy Grand Sport wheels for my base coupe 2008 C6 Corvette, these wheels will fit the original wheels sizes for the base (18x8.5, 19x10). I am looking for recommendations on where to buy these wheels. Any information would be helpful. Thanks.

The 'offset' on the GS / Z06 wheels is different than on the Base wheels .... So, if you mount them on your Base C6, they will stick out of the wheel wells and not look right at all.
Also a chance that the rear tires will damage to top area of the rear wheel openings if you hit a big bump ... Don't do it. Buy wheels that have the correct offset.

I must have not made myself very clear, I am going to buy base sized wheels that are grand sport replicas. I fully understand that Grand Sport wheels would not fit on a base. I am wondering where I should purchase wheels that are "Grand Sport" style and are in base size. I have seen them in midamerica and ecklers, but I wasn't sure if they could be found else where for cheaper that was reliable.

Your best bet might be to first check with 'House of Wheels' ... I think they sell more late model Corvette replica wheels that anyone.

Corvette Central has the GS style wheels in the correct size and offset for a base model C6. 18 x 8.5 $259.00 each and the 19 x 10 is $289.00 each. OE Wheels LLC has an 18 x 9.5 for $217.00 each and 19 x 10 for $158.00 each on sale.

Ok ... that makes sense ... All I read in your first post was you wanted to buy GS wheels for your Base C6. You never mentioned replicas or offset.
Your best bet might be to first check with 'House of Wheels' ... I think they sell more late model Corvette replica wheels that anyone.
