Very cool pictures and history. I wish I was just a couple years older so that I would have overlapped with you and Louis more at Purdue. My first year was Louis' last which was also the Forza filming year, so I didn't see him very much. He must have had some influence though, I went from my 512whp FWD civic street/drag car to road racing a c5z.

I still need to get up to Dallas sometime in the near future to check out the shop.

Yeah I was already down here at that time. I finished Purdue Dec 2003 and moved down here right after Christmas to start the 2004 race season.

Seems like it was just a few days ago I remember seeing Louis roll upto the house at Purdue in his Z28 before fall semester started.....

And setting off alarms in the Northwestern parking garage!!! I very much enjoyed our trip down to IRP for the One Lap (got pictures that need scanned into the computer somewhere). It was a great time being in PAPA.

Great history. So are the sons gonna follow in dad's footsteps racing wise? And where is that Camaro and Mustang now. Someone else racing them somewhere?

I know one of the 5 Saleen Mustangs is here in the DFW area still being used as a track car.

There was a guy on a Camaro board that was still tracking one of the 1993 W.C. Camaro's.

The 2004 Corvette was sold to Sonny Wheelen and they used that car in the 2005 season and they still have and track the car today.

There is a user on the forum that has Lou's 2005 Corvette W.C. (won Sears Point and Portland that year).

Tomi Drissi bought the #87 W.C. 2006-2007 World Challenge Corvette which was crashed at Long Beach and repaired with a new frame we built.

Mike Skeen has Lou's 2006-2007 #28 W.C. Corvette

We have seen a couple of the Corvette Challenge cars at Carlisle and actually ran across the #12 car for sale some years back.

I believe all of the TransAm cars are still running, but not sure of the location.

The name doesn't ring a bell....we probably had 100 or so members in PAPA (Purdue Automotive Performance Association), of which 20-30 of us were pretty close and got together every weekend..

Of course there were 30-35k students on campus then too...

No...never did. Actually ended up parting most of it out, but the rolling chassis is just a few yards from me.

Got into building race cars at work, and never got around to having the time to finish it....then I bought a Corvette and it was all down hill from there.

Thanks for sharing all that! (though seen most of it on the website too!)

If you ever see Lou at the track, you'll find he's a great guy and will shoot the **** with you for 20 minutes easy! We miss seeing him at the ALMS events...

We are constantly upgrading the website so you should start to see more and more new things pop up weekly on it.

If any of you are at an event and we are there, please stop in and say hi and grab one of us or Lou. Always love talking to everyone in person when we are on the road.

Anthony,

Thank you so much for sharing these pictures. I always enjoy rading about racing in the "old days" (that's a comment for your father!).

On a serious note, and something I have said to your father in the past, I am very impressed with what LG "Inc." has accomplished over the years. Why? Because your dad is just a "regular" guy. It is amazing the hieghts his teams have reached with such modest backing. He's not a Roger Penske or Chip Gannassi.

I realize guys like Roger and Chip all started as "regular" guys, but they now bring to the table resources we can only dream about.

In many ways what your father has done serves as motivation (dare I say "inspiration?") to me to do things in motorsports much "higher" than I initially thought I would do when I got started 8 years ago. My wife and accountant thank you!
