I also use R888's for my street/race tire during the season, last year 2 HPDE, 9 sessions and 7 autocrosses. Last year a total of 3000 miles plus the track miles. Tires are still in great shape and should see me through this season as well. They also work pretty good in the rain, not as good as a street tire mind you. I would love to run A6's but just see it being the smartest thing to do with 200 mile round trips to compete.
