Default Thanks

Thanks guys,

I was surprised to have two pages fill up so fast. You all confirmed my thoughts.

Is he a regular vendor at any shows besides Carlisle? I may have to visit him!

Default Lucky day!

I received a package from Goat Hill Classics the other day in the mail. Completely out of the blue, my ignition coil and a refund check for the balance owed. Call me picky but the paint had several chips around the top. I will not send it back for warranty though! After years of phone calls Paul Baker finally came through. Once bitten twice shy, never again! Be careful out there.

My attitude about Vette owners and businesses comes through on here plenty. 95% of them all have an air (bad) about them, the main reason for my hatred towards this "iconic" car and the people involved with it.
A shout out to one great guy is John Greenhoe.

hey, great to hear. Wonderful to have someone who hates vettes bringing up 5 year old threads on the corvette forum to say how much they hate corvette owners.
I know what I will do, go on the Porsche forum and tell them that Porsches are crap and their owners are worse.
thanks a bunch for stopping by.

forgot to say, yeah, hi to John Greenhoe, whoever in the hell that is.

He's the only guy I know who can rebuild/restore "crimped" original fuel pumps. He makes the pulleys. He makes the original coils with the correct tops.

That being said, he can be difficult. I've bought many things from Paul over the years, but I too have had problems with delays. I waited for about 1 1/2 years to get a correct coil for my 69, but he did come through.

I think Paul "bites off more than he can chew", and thus gets behind. I'm not defending this situation, just stating that it's been this way for MANY years. Chuck
There is no excuse for such delays in service. This vendor needs to stop "biting" and to start "chewing" much faster.
