I have an extra t.i. board that needs two main transistors. The originals were GM Delco 1960632 and 1960584 numbers. Does anyone know what these would cross-reference to for current replacements? I could use an empty t.i case if anyone has one collecting dust..Thanks, Kurt

Don't know about replacements for the original components but they make a replacement printed circuit board that is very easy to install. They work great, I believe it was around $100.

Two diodes burnt out in my TI unit left me dead in the water, called Mid America they sent me a state of the art circuit board, installed it in the original TI unit and never have to worry about those old circuits burning out.

Dave has an excellent reputation, but is $$$. New board may be best alternative as others have stated.

I have talked to Dave at T.I Specialty he was very helpful and gave me some things to check. "Quality Guy". I should consider a new style board instead of repairing this one. I noticed a "new" board has been advertised in Driveline, has anyone tried one of these?? A friend tried one and says he has noticed an improvement in engine performance.
These 40 year old electronics scare me.. Maybe, I should try one of these newer engineered boards.. Kurt

Just do it! I put one in my 64 fuel car and it starts easier and seems to have better overall performance.
