Have you priced a '58 automatic transmission lately?--Easy $5,000.00 for this package.

This is a good price, but I don't have the space to take on anymore projects and to be honest, I am looking for an 58-62 that came with a stick originally.
My Dad just picked up a driver 55 Ford Thunderbird 3 speed w/ overdrive and we are currently rebuiding the suspension, etc.

Shame to see it parted, I hope it sells!
You could have added "I will continue to improve this car until it's $60K like everyone else is asking." (a little off-topic humor for those following other threads- this car is a very worthy start indeed)

What all are you missing from making a complete car?
The only things I do not have to make this a complete car are the front fiberglass panels.
What would you take with everything you have towards making it complete?
I think you could purchase a complete car for less money, but I'd consider $25K.
Thanks,
George
