For sale: Tail shaft housing for a 62 C1 Power Glide. This is the housing needed to mount the shifter vs. the shorter housing used on sedans.

NOTE: This housing is cracked about 2" in front of the rear seal. I am not a welder but have been told this can be welded by a welder qualified to for aluminum. This crack occured while a new bushing was being installed. The new bushing comes with the housing. There is a previous weld visible in the first picture just in front of the rear shifter mounting hole.

I could not find any markings on the housing.
