update (pics) on my 68 427 engine pull, any advice on engine bay detailing?

wildman, whatever makes you happy
The Proteam cars that you linked to in your earlier post were all 1969 model year cars. The expansion tank useage was different in 68 and 69. You cannot use a 69 car to determine what was originally on a 68.
The funny thing is, as I mentioned earlier, I also have a correctly dated expansion tank in my 1968 L-36. But I also have a radiator with a radiator cap, and based on my research I have concluded that the expansion tank does not belong there and was probably added by a previous owner.
