Cruise to the Woods pics...
Not sure if this will work but I'm going to try and post the thread I put up in C4 Gen Discussion as I'm hoping there's people here that like other cars besides our vettes
This past Sunday was a perfect day for a cruise/show here in Iowa and the annual CTTW went very well. It was estimated that well over 1600 cars were present I walked for over three hours and still didn't get to a section that had to have had 300-400 cars parked around it. The cruise itself from Stratford to Ft. Dodge took over two hours as we crawled along a five or six mile stretch averaging...maybe 3 mph. Turns out in a town called Lehigh ( I think) people just HAD to stop and do burnouts for the roaring crowds of people just waiting to see somebody blow up their engine If I can attend next year I'm going to avoid that little part of the festivities and head right to the venue. I'm posting the pics in the order I took them which is rather random, but it seemed I couldn't walk very far without seeing something I liked. Corvettes were well represented of course and there were quite a few C4's there (once again ME being the ONLY BAM one there) I didn't know there was a Superbird there until I heard it being announced as receiving the Peoples Choice award so I hauled my fat a$$ over there to grab a couple of pics right before he left All in all a GREAT show with fantastic cars of all years/styles/condition and a lot of nice like-minded folks just having a great time. If anybody here on CF lives within a few hours drive of Ft Dodge Iowa I think you'd find next years cruise to be well worth the time and effort. There were cars from all the neighboring states as well as a few "long haulers". Now then onto what all of you really want to see...PICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just had to take a pic of this little....gem
A very nice Packard touring....
Nice clean 40th...
Very clean '88 Porche 928...haven't seen one in while
One of many tri-five Chevys at the show...
Trio of Chevelles...
Gorgeous Teal C4...
Viper next to that '68 Charger...I'd rather have the Charger
National Award-Winning Dodge Polara...
The paint on this custom C3 was amazing in person...
Very nice and clean third gen Camaro...
This drew quite a few kids to it...kinda cool
Christine herself showed up....beautiful car.
Three pics of my personal favorite car.... WOW was it nice!!!!!
I wish I would have had more time to look at all the cars there but I just didn't have the time...hope there's something that everyone liked.

It's really cool to see a turnout like that. It always makes me wonder how many cool cars are squirreled away in barns and garages out there waiting for their chance to be on the road again.
Loved that Charger.

It was a good show! But If we do it again, my wife and I decided to skip the last leg and head straight to Fort Dodge. That way we can have more time at the show, and spend more time with family who still live there.
Here were some of my favorites...
.. and these were taken while we were stuck on the side of the road, after a stuck float flooded the motor out
