Default Best parade car for homecoming queen and ~150lb boyfriend

Good Evening all,

My wife volunteered me to drive the homecoming queen and her boyfriend in the local parade on Saturday and I am wondering what car would be best for this. I have a 64 convertible but not sure I want them on the deck lid. I also have a 92 convertible and two c3 coupes. I think the 75 coupe is what I am leaning towards using, think it could take the weight the best. Any thoughts or advice are appreciated.

150 Ibs? That boyfriend needs to build some muscles.

But seriously, if the purpose is a parade to show the queen, than why use a coupe?

Any car that requires people to sit on the deck lid needs a removable "seat/platform" that goes from one quarterpanel to the other to "spread out" the weight of the passengers. And the person/couple needs instructions on what NOT to do (dropping their behinds down onto the deck lid/etc.)

It's called "Tough Love Instructions" for riding ON a Corvette.

Any car but a C7. Pics of the queen? You should accidentally forget the boyfriend.

I wouldn't let anyone sit on any part of my cars except the seats.

I'm taking my car to homecoming, but there's no way I'm letting my date sit on the roof/t-top bar!

Our Corvette club did this for the local high school a few years ago and did not have any problems with the couples being on the convertible's back hatches. Just have a soft pad or blanket in place to avoid scratches, caution the kids to take it easy and help them get in and out. Looked really cool driving them around the track.

For many years, previous owner used my '71 roadster for HS parade car ... I can't tell anything's suffered.

We do not know until next weekend, word on the street is she is the front runner. She has played lacrosse with my daughter (who is a junior) for years and is committing to a FL school in a couple weeks. As you may note from the footwear, her family runs the local rodeo.
