YJ8s and/or N90 aluminum wheels are appropriate for All C3s. Especially if they have at least one vinyl bumper. They are about 16 lbs lighter per wheel than steel.
They only reason they weren't a factory option on your car is aluminum porosity, which took GM several years and a different wheel manufacturer to solve.
YJ8s are on Zora's retirement 74, at his insistence.
It's your car. Put whatever wheel design you like on it.
My personal opinion, the aluminum wheels are the best looking wheels ever put on a Corvette. I have them on my '69 (my car had some track wheels and tires on it in my avatar picture).
A third option might be Western Turbines! They look great too and potentially bad a$$
either those that you have on your car or the similar Turbo-vec's from Appliance or Western or Keystone - not sure who made them are the best looking wheel on a early year C3 IMO. Even just all grey (natural) without any paint between the fins look great.

Wow, I thought I was the only guy who still remembers Appliance brand stuff. (Still have a set of Appliance wheels I ran for years, and the Appliance headers on my engine are still looking good.)
I think between the two pictures the OP posted, I'd stick with the Rally wheels. I happen to like that 'deep rim look' that you never see on cars anymore. Just my personal opinion.

Appliance made some really good quality wheels. I had a set of their "slot mags" that were the rage, back then. They burst on the scene in the early 70s, than vanished about 8-10 years later. I wonder what their story was....

Those slotted mags are the set I have. I ran them on the '69 for several years until I put the current YJ8 wheels on the car.

They have a really smooth, polished finish, which made them look a lot better than the "machined" look that the Ansen, AR, and US Mags brands had. Funny thing, I usually remember what I did with the custom wheels I had, over the years, as I had a number of sets, and I obviously sold the Appliance wheels, but I'll be damned if I can remember to whom I sold them....
