Boy, that's a unique looking rim. I've seen an awful lot of rims over the years but I can't say that I've ever seen that style before. I started driving in 1982 so they were a little before my time I guess (but not much!), but I think I bought my first Hot Rod Magazine in the mid 70's when I was a "Corvette Crazy" 10 year old and still don't remember anything like that. They kind of remind me of a European type of rim that you'd see on a Porsche (But a lot larger!) . Very cool.
