Default '71 350 Carb

Looking for a good (as Lars says, "unmolested") quadrajet for my '71. It's a 4-speed, but a carb for an auto would be doable. Please, no California or truck carbs - I already have one of those.

Thanks,
Paul

I have a 7029207 service carb fro 1974 and a 7029202 camaro carb from 1969...i need 50 plus shipping for the service carb and 200 plus shipping for the 1969 carb.

The 1969 carbs do not have the rear power brake vacuum port, so he'd have to alter & modify the '69 carbs to make them work. Once they have been drilled & tapped, they are worthless as "correct" '69 carbs.

And, no, he doesn't need a 7041213 carb. A 7041202 or a 7041203 will work just perfectly.

Thanks for the prompt replies. That's correct I currently have the original 7041213. I prefer to keep it visually original and have the brake booster vacuum port in the rear as I have right now. Other than the 71 carburetor what other base plates are set up in the same manner?

I'm the OP of this thread, but it's 2 years old. Somehow user Agaon resurrected it (I think trying to reply to some other thread). I ended up getting a '73 Q-jet a while ago and Lars has recently worked his magic on it. Placed it on my rebuilt 350 and it started right up. Can't wait to get the car on the road to see how it really RUNS...

As for your 7041213 carb, I believe that was for a manual transmission car. That port at the bottom rear was for power brakes not automatic trans...
