For Sale: Rare Original 1969 Chevrolet 427 Aluminum ZL1 Engine Block with GM casting number 3946052.

This is a 427 Chevrolet Aluminum block casting #3946052 dated 2-1-69 - 131.

The block has the Winters foundry "Snowflake" on the front of the block. Needs sleeves installed.

This is why I chose to do an L-88 tribute rather than a ZL-1 tribute!

Having said that, what you have is absolutely amazing! I’ve seen my fair share of ZL-1s over the years and your block is one of the nicest I’ve ever seen… Looks like NOS and well worth your asking price. Excellent casting date as well.
