Melting Slicks

Battery cables from summit http://store.summitracing.com/partde...0&autoview=sku
The kit comes with the battery ends connected but the other ends you have to press on and crimp yourself b/c the cables are very long. I cut the neg wire and bolted it to the frame crossmember right under the battery box. I had ot make a new hole in the battery box for the negative wire b/c bubba glassed over the original. The grommet came with the battery cable kit.
I then ran the positive wire along the tunnel, turned some of the grommets upside down to put the cable above the studs.
I will cut the positive cable once everything is installed so I can eliminate any slag.
The kit had everything I needed.

i took good photos of the before (the factory installation) which also happened to not agree with the AIM (they probably just installed any way they felt on a given day). i think this is one of those jobs that you put off 'till the tranny is out, you have to pull back the tunnel insulation too, unless the wire has just given up completely . . .
