Thinking about puting this motor in a 80 c3.

If thats the motor with the EFI I might be a little worried about hood clearance.

I am not sure of the difference between 80 and 78, but there is a 78 L82 Pace car in town here in StL. who has installed the RamJet 350 under its stock L82 hood. Ummmm you may be correct Fat Cat, Now that I take a closer look at the hood, It may not be original?????

The center of that hood looks to have a slightly taller profile than the SA hood next to it. Is that hood raised a little or is it just the photo?

Yours looks pretty close to the same Rich. All I know is I asked the owner if it fit under the stock hood and he said yes. But, he's a local cop, so how much can you trust what they say........

No doubt in your comments. I think the photo angle was giving it a different appearance that maybe wasn't mentioned.

Headlights worth having are hard to hide.

The 78 looks stock to me. Those hoods are probably the tallest small block hoods on a C3.
