Default How long does your fuel hose last? (FP to filter)

My Fuel Pump to filter hose is dated 1993 and it looks/ feels as good as new.
I was thinking of changing it; am I wasting my time? Since then, the gas tank and steel lines have rusted out!(1999)
Thanks for your factual response

I am changing the fuel hoses in my car to actual fuel lines. It's safer and looks much cleaner.

Always use "hard" fuel lines after the fuel pump.

Hi Roger!
I've been busy restoring my retirement account. Big tax loss carryforward from 08.
.
my 72 engine is not good looking. I use 250 psi hose on it, so I'm not worried about safety. I've seen tubing rated the same 250 psi. The hose on my 67 turned stiff after 19 years now that it doesn't run and the gas is sour. That was cheap JCWhitney hose I tried some FLAPS $1.19/ft on my 61 and it failed in 2 years! So I mail order the good hose on 25' rolls.
