Mine is not only a 4 bolt but came with a Carter quadrajet. Not Rochester. Figure that one out.. It says Carter Quadrajet right on the side.

That's not unusual.

No, but after 45 years everything in the car still works. Even the factory clock and the fiber optics. That would be unusual.

Geeze...remind me to buy you a drink eh?
I had a problem with the oil pressure guage so while I was looking at it I saw the clock was unplugged. I plugged it back in. It works. I don't think it was built to last more than about 3 days but it's still going....

I would unplug your clock again to save it. I am not sure if my l36 is 2 or 4 but will find out this week motor is getting pulled out and rebuild. Hope its a four bolt but doubt it. My car has rockchester carb. Guy doing rebuild was surprised that car had factory aluminum intake that numbers match up.

Mine still has the factory AIR pump. I am going to leave the clock plugged in. I have a feeling that after 45 years, it's going to outlast me... I checked it this morning and it still tells the correct time.

All '69 big block intakes were aluminum.

Yes. Correct aluminum intake. The exhaust manifolds still have no gaskets like they came from the factory.

I know its a little off from the original post, But when I went to change gaskets on my 1985 454 out of a truck with only 70,000 miles on it, had 4 bolt caps but the block was never drilled.
