I visited the National Corvette Museum this summer with the hope of leaving with an answer to the C3 question. I liked the 68-72s and 80-82s. Inside the museum an early C3 was parked adjacent to a later C3 (maybe a 71 and and 81?) and the 81 was definitely more streamlined in appearance. I tipped toward liking like the cockit of the early C3-good memories as a young boy in my dad's vette, the chrome in the front and rear is also a big plus.
Bought a 69 one month ago and each time I drive it, I am glad I chose to conisder the interior as well as the exterior.
Very nice. Is that configuration all original (black w/ bright blue, side pipes, big block??, and P02s)? What was under the hood?
No the car was originally blue (electric blue?) i believe, my dad thought it was kind of nutty he had it painted black. Everything else was original.. original low miles, big block 427.
I'm looking through the album and I'm actually very surprised i have no engine pics..
I like the 68-69 body without fender gravel guards cars look mean with wide tires hanging out but you cant keep paint on the sides of the car if you drive on bad roads.

I have had two right hand drive cars here in the states all-be-it not corvettes but. I to thought it would be a lot harder than it was. We all drive our cars so much your brain makes the switch really easy.
