Been watching the 68-72 market real close ever since joining the forum back in November 2009.
Taken at face value, that is an excellent original example of the marque, and at a "realistic" price IMHO. A beautiful car.

Nice ride, but how come in the photo's there are redlines on the driver side but not on the passenger side? Just curious but it would help to say which is the newer photo.

...the photo of the "redlines" is in the previous owner's driveway in Kennesaw, Georgia April 3 of 2003. The "blackwall" photo was a pic I took I believe two summers ago. It is what's currently on the car. I doubt the tires even have 800mi on them. I bought the car with around 42,600mi in April of '03 and now seven years later 44,169mi on it.

...Thanks for the compliments everyone. Don't have to sell it whatsoever. Just got too many other toys that are getting neglected(ignored, not abused). Have a 1988 23ft WellCraft that's only been on the water 6 times in the last 4 years. Would like to return to using it much more like I used to when I first bought it in '93. Not enough time anymore for everything, plus kinda retired from the NCRS judging scene.

Sorry to hear about your "retirement" plans... You will be missed.
Also hard to believe that you're considering selling the silver '68. Absolutely outstanding original car.

Paul,
I know this is getting off the subject of your post, but I was wondering if you could post or send a few pictures of your Corvette Orange 74 coupe. I am currently restoring one in that color and would like to see a few pictures to go by, from what I see yours looks great!
Thanks and sorry for getting off topic,
Ray

Hi Paul,
I don't really know you, but know your reputation.
I'm sorry you're 'retiring' from judging, and also sad that your selling this 68... I always associate the silver 68 cars with you.
Regards,
Alan

....hey Paul, thanks. When I get my '74 L-48 automatic car down from it's perch(7ft up on a BackYard Buddy where it's been for the last 18mos)in a few weeks, I'll have a look at the TCS system and maybe get a pic or two for you. Mine still has it and it's been hooked up since day one and still operational. Paul Borowski

....yeah Ed, you got that right. Just spent the last four hours changing out a very well worn & leaky power steering control valve on my Silver '75 coupe. My Orange '74's also has a "slight" drip to it.
...one thing about manual steering, you never have to worry about it leaking anything.
