I had to cancel my first Carlisle this year. My goal is to attend next year (2002). Any advise besides bringing a lot of money? Where did you stay and what was the room rates? I plan on getting reservations early. Bill

We stayed at the EconoLodge in Carlisle. Got the reservations online at $67.50 per night...one double bed (which meant it got cozy for us!). I understand others paid $75 per night and the rates are up for next year. Believe me, it's not too early at all to book for next year!! We did!

I stayed Fri & Sat eve at the Crown Plaza on 2nd St in Harrisburg, Pa for $99/night (and they had a Jaz combo in the lounge). It was about 15 min from Carlisle or about 30-45 min from Gate 3 at the Fairgrounds.
Nope, that's the only advise, bring $$$$.
