Have converted my headlights to the H4 bulb style but bought a kiit from a traveling Car show. Needless to say the kit was a disaster. Had to run a seperate line accross the hood to the passenger side, then after many hours of making the lights work, they quit working shortly after install. I know Corvettehid.com sells a kit but they are quite pricey. What kit are forum members having luck with? I do not want to run a line accross the hood but have plug and play on each side of the car and be under $150.00
Thanx

Just to add my input. I did a bunch of research and I found 3 main components:
1.) You need quality projector lenses that fit our headlights...
2.) You need a good balast that is plug and play...
3.) You need to pick out the right temperature of light--see chart--(http://maxx.wolltech.com/MXRZ_HID_COLOR_INDEX.jpg)
Now quality of systems is something I couldnt find!

With HID,you are going to get what you pay for. There are good HID systems available, but if you want really good lighting, expect to pay for it.
It's sort of like buying some Sylvania "Cool Blues" and expect to get much improved lighting over stock halogen bulbs. Ain't gonna happen.

I bought this one from a forum member brand new and never used it:

I paid $225. I'll take $50 off and include the shipping, so $175 shipped.
