The picture appears sorta red, but it's actually Silver Beige Metallic / Medium Brown Metallic.

Sorry, the car isn't mine, so I don't know the interior color.

85? I thought the center high mounted brake light didn't appear until 86. I'm probably wrong. I was wrong once before.

Guy had an '85 and wanted a high mount brake light. Bought one from the Chevy dealer. They started drilling and broke the rear hatch glass. Oops. Didn't know the hatch glass had holes in it for the mounting bolts.

I usually don't take pictures of my car as a whole (lots of ones of bits and pieces, though). This is one of the few more overall views, taken right after I discovered that I had cracked the governor cover on my 700r4 and allowed about a quart of ATF to leak out:

Somerset KY - been there, done that! always a good time. back in Ohio, a bunch of us had a pseudo-corvette club - "the 83 owners association." we booked a block of rooms in Somerset under that name and when we arrived, we were greeted with...

only problem, we got second billing to Percy!

mine has a build date of July (1985), VIN sequence 36411 (out of 39729) -- within 3.5 weeks from the end of 85 production. no CHMSL here, and i'm 99.99999% sure no 85's were factory built with that feature. there is no documentation to prove otherwise. really think were getting OT here....

love the two tones. i have my eye on an 86 same color as the 85 that started this thread off. guy inherited it from his dad and doesn't seem too interested in them.

I think your complaint about getting second billing killed him.
