The rear brake lights on my '89 convertible will not illuminate when the pedal is depressed. The "high light" does illuminate. The four "round" ones do light when the emergency flasher button is depressed. No fuses are blown. Both switches at the pedal appear to be properly placed. One is a vacuum switch (cruise interruption?) and the other, electrical. Haven't put a meter on either set of wires, yet. Haven't checked the bulbs (arms too fat to reach up in there), but guessed they were good since emergency flashers work. Any suggestions on how to proceed?
