Great find!!! Ibreally enjoyed reading through the thread. The car is very restorable and I would restore it to be a nice driver and add some upgrades here and there. It will never be worth what an unmolested example is so you may as well enjoy the car the way you want to.

Well, it looks better than I thought ? and if I learned anything over the years, it's "Their only Original once !" I've sort of become obsessed with originality. I restoed my 88 K5 to look just like the day it was delivered to the owers at Mustang Chevrolet, San Angelo, TX in 1988

Doing the same to my 02 1500 I bought new. Another week or two its done.

See the op hasnt been back..I hope he paid under 5k for it or he paid too much!
