Trans issues
Weird engine squeak, but engine sounds good and runs strong.

I've done everything I can myself, to adress those issues with no resolve.

Great find!!! Ibreally enjoyed reading through the thread. The car is very restorable and I would restore it to be a nice driver and add some upgrades here and there. It will never be worth what an unmolested example is so you may as well enjoy the car the way you want to.

hi if this is the same car. I knew someone who bought it from mattress mack.
Got to ride in it way back in 2000. Not sure what happened to it after that.
Was it flooded?
I hope It can recover the Rockets paint job.

Well, it looks better than I thought ? and if I learned anything over the years, it's "Their only Original once !" I've sort of become obsessed with originality. I restoed my 88 K5 to look just like the day it was delivered to the owers at Mustang Chevrolet, San Angelo, TX in 1988

Doing the same to my 02 1500 I bought new. Another week or two its done.
