With regards to the green stuff and the silicate in there. I've read the silicate can cause damage and sludge? Which is why I was thinking of going with the G-05/HOAT stuff.
The stuff has been around forever. How old is your car now? Is it sludgy or damaged? If you perform the proper service, I don't see why it would be a problem.
However, it's your car and you should use what makes you comfortable.
