The top ends not that bad... however the rest of the engine is alittle tight, the headers are dimpled to fit in a few places and the K frame has a notch to fit the damper.

How does the hood look close with that intake sit up? Any mods done?

I have a 3" cowl and a drop base cleaner, so the hood has probably another 1" of clearance (for the nitrous plate) i attached a pic... my 74 has a 5" cowl as a reference.

Currently... the 454 has- shortie headers, performer intake, 750 double pumper, custom exhuast, Drag radials.

I'm begining the build in a week or two, been saving up for the head work.
the build..
-"vortec" big block heads, ported and polished, decked, 3 angle, race valves
- Comp 230 magnum cam.
-edelbrock torquer intake.
-150 shot of nitrous
-shift kit

454 + light car + drag radials = no rain...in fact I don't even have wipers.

The driver side vavle cover makes it very tough to get the wiper motor on. I could always use some string and use my self and a passenger as a motor, lol.

I've seen that method more than once. Usually the subject vehicle is an old 2-tone rust-and-bondo example of automotive design. Also, they loop the cord completely around thru both side windows, no passenger needed to operate it.

Big blocks are very cool, but you can get away with bbc torque from a big sbc. Technology is something else. Got to love it.

I can't get to any pictures from your link. Can anyone else see the pictures from the link? Am I doing something wrong?

Here is my Dad's big block car again. It's a 1990 540 cubic inch Lingenfelter modified car with a ZF6 transmission.
