2020 C5 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
Default 2000 DBGM convertible,"Cordelia" update: sold!

UPDATE 2/16/21 : Car is sold
Well friends, I need to move on and sell my convertible, named Cordelia. I'm placing my price at $17,000, but will entertain serious offers.
She's a 2000 Dark Bowling Green Metallic with an automatic transmission. The HUD is a great feature of this car!
She took third place in the CF C5 Corvette of the year unmodified division this year.
I bought her with 89K miles on her odometer, and after two years of ownership, she's just tipped over 90K. The first 89K were primarily highway miles, traveling annually from Ohio to Florida.
The car has never been raced or autocrossed, and has always ridden at stock height.
I bought her from a fellow CF member, and he provided me with all the service and modification records dating back to 2005. I have all records of the updates I've added as well. She comes with her original owner's manual and VHS tape, along with a Corvette sales brochure and NCM laminated window sticker. The previous owner had installed a Vararam 2 cold air intake, RPI body color-matched engine dress-up pieces, and custom embroidered hood and trunk liners.

She has always been garage-kept, and is treated as a show car that gets driven on dates with my wife.

I've posted many threads here about the updates I've performed, but here are the bullet points:
New spark plugs and wires
New C6 Grand Sport Replica rims and Nitto 555G2 tires (800 miles on the tires)
New Brakemotiv slotted rotors and brakes
New ACA headlamp assemblies
New LED yellow fog lamp bulbs with Z06 grilles
New front corner lamp housings with switchback LED bulbs
New rear corner LED assemblies
Hyperflash harness installed
New Eibach sway bars and Moog endlinks front and rear
Borla 140017 S type-II axle back muffler deletes
New stainless steel engraved door sill plates
Custom C7 Kalhari-theme color interior upgrade
UPR acrylic shifter ****
body color-matched center console
Professionally paint corrected and ceramic coated exterior
*I do have the original center console, shift handle, 5 spoke wheels that will go with the car if you want them

Some highlight pictures for your perusal-

I'm located between Dayton and Cincinnati, Ohio. Feel free to pm me for more details or to give it an in-person inspection. She deserves a great home with attentive owners who love her.

Wow Ed, never thought I see the day when you and Cordelia would part! You've made the car a showpiece and I sure have enjoyed reading about all the cool upgrade mods and work you've undertaken. Good luck with the sale; she's a winner!

At that price I think it's a steal! Especially with all the awesome mods. The Corvette family along with the DBGM club sure is gonna miss you when you sell her. I wish you the best with the sale, cheers.

Good luck with the sale Ed! Are you stepping up or stepping out in the Vette world?

I had an opportunity to buy a 2006 Mustang GT 5 speed convertible for a price I just couldn't refuse; and my patient and merciful wife said only one sports/muscle car at a time in is allowed in the garage.
It is ironic that I sold an '05 GT convertible 5 speed in order to buy Cordelia! I've missed that Mustang since about a month after I sold it, and having a manual tranny is something I've sorely missed.
The time I've spent with Cordelia has been great, and I have gained so much valuable knowledge from you great folks here on the forum!
She deserves to be the center of attention in the garage, and I'm hopeful that the right person will come along to continue the proper stewardship of her.

Love the honesty Ed! I'm kinda jonesing for a Lime Green C7 but a.) lack the funds and b.) truly enjoying my C5 DBGM and c.) the boss needs to approve...

I just love your car. One of my favorite colors too. The interior is fantastic. I wish it wasn't winter time and Covid I would take a ride to look at it for sure.
I have had a Millenium Yellow C5 and an Atomic Orange C6 and sold them both here on the Forum. I would really consider buying this car if the world
gets better. Wish you all the luck in selling it.. These Forum people are the right folks to appreciate the car. If it's still around come spring time I will probably take a look and buy it from you.

I just tried the link and found out this info:
If you're trying to access the link thru Firefox on your phone, it doesn't allow you to open the Google album. However, if you use Google Chrome on your phone it will work. Hope that helps!

Thanks for kind encouragement; I love that Atomic Orange color on the C6, and was actually trying to find a Millennium Yellow when I found this car!
Let's hope the world heals soon.
