Got any more info on HoustonZ06's car? I didn't realize anyone had pushed the STS system to the limit yet? Was that a stock engine? How much boost was that 740 at?
Thanks
Thanks

Honestly though, I had no difficulties doing this off of jack stands. Considering how well it went doing it that way, I can't see a huge time savings doing it on a lift. Just the time scooting under and back, I suppose.
I changed out my in-tank fuel pump to the Racetronix, and it was much better having the car at a low "altitude" while draining the tank.

The base turbos on a STS twin and existing tube diameter will do a huge amount based on my math and Dave's math and Ben's math.
The biggest problem will be the rest of the car, not the custom tailored kit. Anyone that is going to go into that stratisphere on any setup better be prepared to go the distance.

P.S. Synergy has gotten 780 rwhp out of a stock bottom end with an STS single. This was on a 5,000 lb. truck with a heavy rotating assembly and tires. The motor lasted for about six months. Tuning is means a lot.

no on the stock motor - MTI built forged 383
boost was 12.5 psi at 740.7 rwhp
A/F ran a scary lean 14.7:1 at 13.5 psi so the car was shutdown ASAP
If i upgrade the fuel system (1K or more) the turbos at 15psi would probably put me around 780 rwhp.
next step for you hard-core guys is to go with the 61mm turbos (upgrade from STS) they support 1200 - 1300 bhp.
Rick Squires told me these base turbos were good for 800 bhp together.
After my brother's accident I've had alot of family pressure to sell my car so I am only going to give it a three week try, I have it listed in the C5 for sale section with pics, on autotrader.com and going on Ebay tomorrow for 7 days.

Be careful at those DE events; If you run off the track both feet in (brake and clutch) slow down to 20mph and then get back on - not at 90mph.

I really love this car, the twin turbos are awesome, the only cars that will even discuss running with me in Houston are two 850 rwhp supras and a 1000+ hp turbo viper.
No cobra or lightining takers yet.....

charge pipes
This was the biggest night mare of the install was getting the pipes to fit through the rockers, the second one wwent in better because we greased it, but the first one was aPITA on the coupe you need to notch a wlange thing with a sawsall, once we removed the wheels ans wheelwells, also removing the calipers is almost nessisary, i dont think it would work with htem on. here are the pictures, alot of brute force was required to get them in there.
drivesr side front fender looking back
what we had to cut through
trying to jam it in
finally lines up drivesr side
over the rear wheel pipe

Hey Bob,
Did that intercooler come in yet? The weekend is fast approaching and I am sure you don't want me to babysit your car for one more week. After we finish the install you can leave it here for a very reasonable monthly rental. Keys in it of course
