does it really look that bad , to the naked eye, or do you really need to look for it, and will it make a difference since mine is a convertible with the small window?

Limo is the only way on the sides. I went 20% in the rear cause I need to be aware of cops behind me coming up and with limo id be nailed too much. I've never had a cop sneak up on me where I didn't see em in 30 years of driving yet.

I'm in the same position... I'll I have heard is to make sure that they use tape for the top of the back window, otherwise you'll get air pockets all around the nubs.

Ditto.......... until.......... I just had them use a solid piece of black and it looks perfect! I do not see a single "bubble", "dot" nothing, solid black and looks great!!! Yes, it's on the inside.

Default Window tint

I will tell you this...it reallllly looks good with something on the order of 20% all around or limo on the back and 20% on the sides but night driving can be hard....you cannot tell a cars color for sure and if they are in your blindspot you cant see much of their headlights next to you. I found that 5 to 20% on the rear with 35 on the sides looks really dark and has very little effect on your driving situation plus it still looks dark as hell due to the back being so dark.

I dont have a pic, i need to get the car cleaned up. The previous owner had them done and id guess they are either 15-20% all the way around. I love it I can roll around with the A/C on low in 100 degree heat and be comfy inside.

Well .... I got it done yesterday. Went with 20% all around. Looks real good. Had them use the black vinyl piece on the back. I wasn't too impressed at the time I picked it up - but they assure me after it dries for a day or two that area of the back window will look much better. Other than that the car looks "killer". I need to post a picture of it for you guys to see. Who can I send the pic to ? I guess if I wasn't so cheap I would pay the member's fee so I could post them myself.

Not sure about the scratches but the bubbles will go away. they use a light soapy water so they can reposition the tint on the window then squeegee as much water out as possible, the rest will dry. give it time.

I have seen the type of tint that goes from a chrome to dark effect but not sure how that would look.

It's a Vet, not a Honda.

Anyone have any pics that I could look at to make the decision easier ?

Thanks in advance.
