Default Sun shades - Do you use them?

I daily drive my car, and from about 5am to 5pm it sits in a concrete parking lot at work. This is pretty much every day. I have seen numerous vehicles with a dash that is cracking and faded and messed up. I can only assume that it is because of the sun's effects on the dash.

I have a pair of sun shades and I use them every day. Yes, they are a pain to have to deal with, but I don't want the dash in my car to look like h*ll in a few years.

Do yall use them?

I use one in my DD each day - keeps the dash and the interior cooler.

You are a wise person! I even made some sun shades for the side windows.

Sometimes the shade. Sometimes the topper. Sometimes both. But always one of them.

The shades keep the interior cooler big time. Especially in your case,John, since your car is black!

Yes I use a sun shade. I also use Meguiar's Vinyl & Rubber Protectant for the dash.

I definitely use a sun shade to protect my HUD and dash pad. I don't think the previous owner used one cause the dash pad around the HUD shrunk and the display for the HUD looks sun-damaged. I also had to buy a dash-mat (ewww) to prevent further damage to my dash pad.

I do if it's gonna sit out for awhile in the hot sun - I've got an el cheapo shade from the Dollar Store.
