Wolf car cover issues
I have a Wolf car cover that I never use because it leaves a ton of little white waxy dots all over the car. Some will blow off but the others must be removed by a duster. I was told maybe the PO washed it and it was just powered soap that had not been washed out completely. So I had the cover washed by the dry cleaners in a commercial washing machine. For those who don't know that machine can handle 5 car covers at once they are huge. They washed once with liquid soap and once again with no soap at all, and I still have the same problem. Can it be coming apart internally and leaving the residue? Does anybody have a clue what might be happening?

I have a Wolf also and have experienced what you are asking about, although i call it 'dust residue' and i do not think it's Wolf covers only
My brother has a Covercraft for his C5 and experiences the same thing, i really think it has to do with how long it's covered the longer time period dust/contaminents get under or bleed through the cover and settle on the body leaving a waffle pattern from the weave pattern of the cover, i usually dust off the car or hose it off, the cover is certainly not perfect but uncovered would be worse, plus the sun beating on it fades the finish and acid rain etches the clearcoat.

I am having the same problem with my Wolf cover. I am almost ready to stop using the cover. I put the car away clean and have to wash it when I remove the cover. It's a PITA.

I hear you. I had one when my car used to stay outside and it wasn't even worth covering. I basically had to clean it each time after covering.

Well guys I have or had should I say trouble with my WOLF brand cover that I purchased through Corvette Central, I sent it back because of the rips and tears and other issues, was told that the Company / Manufacturer or no longer in business, Just to show you how good of a vendor that Corvette Central is, they refunded my entire costs of the cover. Now that's keeping everyone happy, we bought the cover because of the warranty it offered and Corvette Central took care of us. Thanks Corvette Central, and to never buy anykind of WOLF BRAND PRODUCTS, AGAIN....
