I have used regular unleaded in all my vettes (7) and never had a problem. Somebody told me it is because of the altitude. The heck with the premium prices.

You don't have to bet...its true...don't know exactly how much it is but I've never heard him complain or whine about anything so I think it would be fitting if each CorvetteForum member sent him just one U.S. dollar to help him out

Funny thing is...here in Canada, it is election time and I don't recall ONE SINGLE candidate even mentioning FUEL PRICES.

THEY'RE ALL CROOKS.

It wouldn't be high if the market told them to shove it! But unfortunately people will pay whatever they demand.

I long for the days when it was that cheap

Last count was $8.35 a gallon

I have to say though, about 65% of a gallon here is tax.

I totally agree. With the high cost of gas, I quit going to car shows and meets. It'd be nice if gas prices dropped again.

I wonder when (if) our government is going to step in and start issuing "vouchers" to the poor people to help them with out with gas???....
They already step in and help with other utility bills, food, etc, etc...

Why not? it buys votes.................
