Definitely before the snow! She’s safe and sound in the garage. Wheels are BC Forged HB05 19x10/11. Running 275/30 and 325/30’s. 305/30’s would fit without poke with stock rear fenders, the 325’s need the Vette Nuts 1” flairs I’m running. I give all that detail because I will be going a different direction soon.

Nice hood. Is the body painted or vinyled?

It was like that when I got it. It appears to be painted, as best I can tell. I'm hoping to run into somebody that can tell me the history of the car at some point.

Those wheels are special. They made very few sets and are true forged two piece wheels. If for some reason you dislike them don't just let those go for next to nothing.

You've got the tiger shark body kit on there, which is great. The chrome junk on the taillights, coves, and markers though, if the car came like that then you get a pass The cove trim looks especially bad on top of looking crookedy

Thanks for the heads up. They are definitely staying with the car.
They do look very similar to yours
The only other ones I've seen that looked similar on a C5 were on the #3 car.

They are the same as mine. BBS LM, specifically the BBS LM133 and LM134. They are Corvette specific. Yours appear to be in much better shape than mine.

The only downfall is they are a bit too wide for OEM non-Z06 sizing and the Z06 sizing is hard to find. I went stock 247/275 on Firehawk Indy 500: which appear to run narrower than the Michelin run flat tires I had previously. If I were to do it over I’d run 255/285.

I haven't bought tires yet. When I do, I will revisit your post here. These are 265/40zr17 Michelin Pilot Sport.

The "chrome junk"... haha Thanks for the pass
Yep, it came like that.
It's all plastic and gaudy So it matches the faux woodgrain interior. I figure they'll fall off at some point and reveal some paint damage to be repaired.
The dealership offered to remove both while adding the story that the original owner was head of Corvette at the time and his personal friend made those.
... only driven by a little old lady for Sunday church... LOL
They (dealership during the "sale") also said that the Tiger Shark was installed by Wheels to Wheels as an OEM prototype before the initial delivery with the original paint.
If you know more about the Tiger Shark, I'd like to hear about it. Thanks!

Thanks man,... workmanw.
There is an identical pinstripe on the hood, matching the back, they are both silver.
It doesn't show up well in the photo, eh.

I'm curious to know more about Tiger Sharks and Wheels to Wheels OEM prototypes other than what I can find on google if you have more info.
I'm not sure if they put on the "chrome junk" you mentioned or if that was one of the previous owners.
The Corvette labeled tail light dressing I was told didn't come from them.
The crooked side trim is at least matching in angles on each side. I have no idea, where that came from or if crooked is how it is supposed to be

Love the black top. Looks like they could both use a little lowering ;-)
