I have a partition for my 04 Vert. It does help in reducing the road/tire noise from the rear. Music listening is the same but I not a fussy one for sounds. Interesting question on AC efficiency. When I do turn on the AC with the partition installed, you could hang meat in the car. Very cold. But I never tried to compare with or without the partition.

I live here on the surface of the sun, aka Houston in the summer. Most of the posts here on partitions are in relation to exhaust noise. I have another angle. I'm thinking a partition would help the a/c to be more effective. Can I also assume these partitions don't cut off the rear speakers ? Lastly, are there any cutout templates out there for a C5 convertible partition ? Thanks for your input.
