My current Vette is torch red but I really miss my artic white ones!
I think the pewter is nice too but i really like the white with the firethorn red interior. I traded it for a brand new Toyota [great car] for the wife a few years ago and regretted it ever since.

I like just about all the colors for the C5 Z06, but I had my eye out for a silver one and I got lucky and found one.

I liked silver because it doesn't show dirt as easily.

I had a black '99 FRC. I sold it for my current '98 Coupe... Nassau Blue.

I couldn't stand not being able to take the roof off (Before the '99 I had a '93 Coupe) and Nassau Blue is THE color... you know, that color that just shouts "It's great to be alive and driving a Corvette!"

I love black cars, and wanted a black vette......when I came across my Pewter I fell in love (at first sight). All vette's look good regrdless of color!

Next vette will be Atomic Orange, that color just goes KAA-POW!!!!

Many of my cars have been champagne metalic's, silver and dark metalic greys. Must have a thing for metalics

When I was young guy I spotted a yellow with black top vert on a car lot I wanted soooo bad. Just couldn't afford it. Over the years I would think about that car at times. When I started looking for a car last year I decided on 4 colors I would accept if everything else was right. I found 2 cars that I tried to make a deal on....one yellow, one black. As it turned out the better deal was on the yellow one and I'm really glad it worked out the way it did.

I love my Silver C5, but my favorite color is Pewter. IDK, but it just looks so classy.

I like green.........

Green is one of the least liked colors here on the C5 forum, but at the time we bought this one it was the only color we wanted. To repeat the story, when we went to the National Corvette Caravan in 1999 we were waiting outside the Assembly Plant when they rolled out a brand new Dark Bowling Green convertible with Lt. Oak top & interior. My wife walked over to the chain-link fence and stared at the car for a good 10 minutes. When she came back she said, "We're going to own that Corvette some day". It took 5 years but she was right.

If we win the Powerball lottery our next one will be Arctic White with ice blue stripes - 2013 427 Convertible.

Matters to me, when I bought mine it had to be black or magnetic red, two of my favorite colors in any car, not just the C5..

I own two - both convertibles. One is black and the other is the hated Pace Car Purple with the yellow interior and wheels.

When I bought the black one - I had my heart set on a black/black coupe. I wound up with a black/black/gray convertible. I love the car and the gray interior....glad I didn't get a black interior!

The Pace Car was a car I fell in love with at the 1998 500 - never thought I'd own one, but when a very nice one crossed my path and the price and timing was right, I couldn't resist. This year will be my 26th attendance at the 500 - the Indy500 is a big part of my life and the Pace Car is my little piece of that. I don't care at all what anyone else thinks or likes, I bought it because I like it.

I've driven a lot of Corvettes over the years - and I cannot say that there is a bad color, but there are colors that I prefer. Color is such a personal choice - so to say that this one is better than that one is really wrong. The right color is the one that makes you happy.

I bought a machine Silver 04 Z06 with 10700 miles on the car last year. The silver was no where near my first choice of color, although this car was in almost perfect shape. I was not going to let this car get away from me. I learned some years back when looking for a 70 coupe not to let color sway my thinking about a car. As it turns out, my silver Z06 Shows very well and really love the color, and my 70 coupe is originally a laguna grey, which turns out to be on of the rarest colors for a 70 coupe. I thought I had to have a black Z06 and thought I had to have a Warbonnet yellow 70 coupe.
I'm very happy with what I I've ended up with.

I spent months shopping for my particular color(as well as mileage, condition, ect). I passed up on a couple nice cars that weren't the color I wanted. I'm not willing to make concessions on something that costs me tens of thousands of dollars.

Vette colors just grow on me. My father had an 03 Z06 in Millenium Yellow. Loved that car, stood out hard! I Like black but it hides the lines and curves of the car. My favorite is Electron Blue. Never really liked red... remember what I said about colors growing on me?... I just purchased my first Vette this week, 2001 Lingenfelter TT Z06, in RED lol.

I really love the MSG. That was my first choice in color. But when I narrowed down which model suited me most, I had to have the Z. Damn you GM.

I like all the colors, but my personal choices for the Z were black or silver. Wanted a low mileage pristine example and after almost two years of searches I found a MS that called to me.

Very nice; especially since it's also a convertible.

It is the opposite for me. Once I dealt with owning a black car and maintaining the paint at a level I would be happy with, I knew I would NEVER buy another black car. When I started my Z06 search, black was the only color I wouldn't consider. My favorite colors were: Millennium Yellow, Electron Blue, Torch Red, LeMans Blue. I wouldn't have been upset with Silver, but it is probably the least exciting color....but it also is the lowest maintenance color.

I actually owned two die-cast models of the Z06 in Millennium Yellow years before I ever bought the real thing. So it was definitely my first choice, and always had been. Electron Blue is really awesome too.
