First Time Clay Bar Detail
I admit I was a little skeptical before detailing my car for the first time using a clay bar, but I was amazed at the amount of dirt that came off what I'd thought was a clean car. It took me two days of rubbing and polishing, but I finally finished and couldn't resist snapping some good pics of the end result to share. Thanks to those who talked me into trying it out, she looks gorgeous!

Very nice ,I haven't tried a clay Bar yet myself, When you can tell in a picture that the car has a very high gloss shine I think its time for me to bust out the clay ,I am going to give it a try ...Thanks for posting ,I like your idea about stirring up some jealousy ,that was good...enjoy

Nice job.
It is always amazing to clay your car and see what you have left behind. I clay, then Mirror Glaze Show Car Glaze followed by Mirror Glaze Carnuba. It is a lot of work, but the end-result is the BOMB
Again, congrats, looks really good

Beautiful job! It looks really clean. What did you use on the bra?
I hate to take my Vette to Walmart and if I can't find an absolutely safe place to park I leave.

Great job on the car. I remember the first time I used a clay bar on a car - amazing how smooth the paint felt and how much grit came off when I really thought the car was clean.

Claying is awesome. it is work (along with the rest of the detailing you do after) but worth it. when I did mine I accidently rubbed the clay into the paint a few timesbut was able to get it back off

I always go outback where the auto service center is and never had a problem. But to park out front in the main parking lot, NEVER !
