Anyone have any suggestions? Just bought a C5 Z06 which I will be storing in my mothers garage for the winter (my house & my condo both no garage
) can anyone point me in the direction of a good quality brand?
Will be keeping it at my house during the nicer months but want to keep it covered when not using it
Definitely want waterproof of course
Thanks

Noah is a medium weight cover that will also protect against dings and
scratches.

If you want a Water Resistant Cover then you can get the
Coverking Stormproof. The stormproof is a light cover (think
parachute material)

Remember, a waterproof cover does not breath well and should be
removed after rain. A water resistant cover breathes and lets moisture
and condensation under the cover evaporate.

No, I am saying that it is thin and won't protect the car from scratches
if contact is made with the car with the cover on.
The Noah is a thicker cover and will protect the car if it is bumped into
Car covers don't scratch cars. Putting a car cover on a dirty car will
cause scratches in the paint no matter what cover you use
Always wash your car before putting a cover on it.

Noah, great cover. First year I buy my car I take it to the beach to play golf. It rained every night for a week. Had the noah on every night, by the next morning, car cover is completely dry as was the car. That was 16 years ago.I still use the same cover today inside all winter.

I also agree that a car cover will scratch. During the summer I never cover the car because on & off with the cover is how it scratches. If it sits outside it will protect the car from weather but not from scratches..there are ways to take care of the fine scratches. Some of the things said in some of the earlier threads about the waterproof covers I do not agree with. The noah will let moisture evaporate, if there is any.

I am on my seventh year of a $49.00 AutoZone cover. It's got a couple of pieces of duct tape on it now but I can't believe how well it's held up outside through 7 New Jersey winters.
