Default New RF flush mount headlights

Bought these from a forum member here and got them installed over the weekend! Overall, easy install. I am going to end up getting new V3 shroud and lenses but for now I polished these out and they look okay. The fitment of the lens and shroud could be better for sure and takes some tinkering. Sorry the outside pic has glares because of lenses. Weather was garbage.

Best flush mounts I've seen.
It makes me wonder what they would look like if the base was painted body color.

But it does look like you did a good job on the install. It sure changes the look of the car. Please report back as to how the light output is now compared to the stock lights.

I like the design of those. They don't bulge like "frog eyes"

This is my biggest pet peeve with most any C5 flush mounts I've seen; they don't match the body color which makes them stick out like a sore thumb. If I dropped the money for flushes I'd most certainly separate the inner buckets and have them painted body color.

... I like the pop-up lights (though I prefer them to be "lazy eyes" with projectors)

Looks decent. I'm usually 50/50 on this swap. Did you notice much of a difference in weight?

Just like the C6, a black car would look best with these IMO.

I’m kinda 50/50 as well to be honest. The car looks newer for sure without the pop ups. I’m gonna run them for a bit and see it out and about before making a final decision on them. The light output is so much better and they really look good at night.

As far as painting goes I just don’t know since it is an aftermarket fixture. I saw one painted on a silver car and hated it. Maybe it was a bad picture

Found this pic online, thoughts? Or anyone have additional pics of them painted?

The only reason I did not buy a c6 was because the headlights did not flip.

NFL: Boycott these SOB's.

Those lights make it look part C6. It's your car but it changes the idea of the C5 being the last of the pop ups.

Radio flyer has the best light output of any fixed headlight. They look great to me. They flow with the lines of the car. I have the Breathless Performance fixed head lights which have the same profile as the Radio flyer has. Just different lights. I sent you a pm. I have a set of the Radio flyer shrouds color matched to your car if interested.

I like pop ups but these aren't bad at all.

I hate how clear plastic gets damaged in the sun.
