Clutch fluid question...
If I were to change the fluid in the reservoir, can I add dot4 to the existing dot3...or should I stick with the type 3 unless I purge the entire system?....so the question is does type 3 and 4 mix?...any adverse affects?

Re: Clutch fluid question... (BLT2SPD)
Read the bottles, but every DOT4 I have seen clearly states that it is compatible with DOT3. It just has higher boiling points.
Apparently, the stock GM "cluth fluid" has an additive to prevent squeeking. I have also read that it's that same additive that reacts with the rubber seals to turn it black.
Good luck,
