Not sure if you read the entire post. I dont think I'd buy this battery even if it was $100. Seems way to inadequate for the demands of the vette even though Advance says "fits perfect". Yeah I can put a potato in the spot too...that will fit just the same. Lmao

Yeah, maybe I'm confused then. Why did you bother to put it in your online cart and post it?
Perhaps I'm wrong, didn't Mike98SilVert post in the thread he has this one - AutoCraft Platinum AGM Battery, Group Size 78, 740 CCA

Good catch! Yeah I didnt notice his battery was group 78 and not 75. When I check it says group 78 will not fit my 2002. But if the vert uses the same size tray it should fit. I'll have to wait for him to chime in to be sure.

x2 on reserve capacity important. 600cca is more than enough, got sick of finicky expensive batteries and disappointments with Delco
Bought a couple of cheap Walmart batteries had nothing but good luck. Less than 100 with a warranty.....

PO used the Walmart Group 78 Maxx series battery as well - no issues with them. I switched to the Advance Auto Autocraft Platinum (Johnson Controls) Group 78 just to have the AGM design to reduce/eliminate the chances of acid spill damage. It has the best weight per noted specs, around 39 lbs with 115 min 60 Ahr and 740 CCA. In Nov 2018 it cost me $159 net on sale with a $20 SpeedPerks reward that was about to expire. I could not pass up the deal.
