Of course if it worked and I like it, GM had to get rid of it. Anybody have experience with the new Upper Engine and Fuel Injector Cleaner GM Part # 88861802? In the past I used GM's Top Engine Cleaner with good results (in addition to be a great fogger), which I would dump into the top of the engine (I used the brake vacuum line). In attempting replenish my stock, the Chev parts person told me they no longer sell the good stuff and instead have this new fuel injector cleaner which I guess is usable on all fuel injected cars except it can no longer be used by the shade tree mechanic since the replacement cleaner requires "mixing, using a special machine, etc., etc." There were no instructions on the new fuel injector cleaner so I am at a loss. Since the '00 Vette never gets above 35 MPH in Houston, the engine loads but a yearly application to Top Engine Cleaner ususally kept things running smooth. So any experience with the new improved, pay the dealer $200 fuel injector cleaner or maybe a possible alternate?
