1/8-1/4 should do; if remembering correctly the offset is +10mm more on the C6 wheels

10 mm = is a little over 3/8" of an inch.

The offset difference is 14mm (79mm vs. 65mm). Subtract 6mm (1/4 in)from the 14mm for the added C6 wheel width (1/2 inch wider divided by 2). The new wheels outer edge will be inboard by about 8mm or about 3/8 inch.

I recently tried a set of C6 tires and wheels on my 99 Vette. I was expecting to need spacers but, to my surprise, they fit without a spacer. However, the rear tires sat really close to the wheel wells. Actually, a 5-8 mm spacer is probably all you would need for added insurance.

They will fit with no spacers...but they will rub if you have some rough road. With 1/4" theres no rub anytime.

Where did you get the spacer and did you use longer studs?
Thanks

I did this over a year ago....don't use spacers. You need to buy a pair of adapters...big difference. The adapters bolt to your existing spindle and provide you with studs that are the right length. E-bay has a page or two of 'em. Search for "corvette wheel adapters". Like the guys are saying, some don't need anything, but it IS a tight fit. I went with 1" aluminum adapters...The fit is great. Durable too, I've 508HP to the rear wheels and they haven't come off yet....
