Look in the "DIY" post that is a sticky. There's a post in there on the HUD install but you'll be able to see the steps for removing the dash and fixing this. If I remember correctly it's a mount that tends to break or come lose or something. After you get it apart, fixing it should be pretty easy/obvious.
