I just noticed the oil pressure gauge is pegged at 80# pressure and the message screen shows 130# pressure on my 2002 Corvette Coupe. Is this an easy fix or a big problem? The oil is a the full mark.

I see your new here. Welcome. Im sure there will be people to tell you to use the search function as there are 100's of threads on this topic. Im here to tell you that your problem most likley is oil pressure switch. Its located underneath the intake manifold at the back. I had the same issue over a year ago. If your worried about what the actually pressure is, have a local shop(who knows what they are doing) disconnect the oil filter while the car is running and use a mechanical gauge to verify your pressure. here is the replacement part i used.....

Or you can take 15 minutes to pull the intake manifold and another 30 minutes to replace the oil pressure sending unit. Its a good time to replace the intake gaskets too.
OP sending unit=$40
Intake Gasket=$15
I would not be a hack and drill a hole in the cowl but that's just me. If you want to drill holes in your cowl that will save you 30 minutes. I tried the other method in the video and I couldnt get to it with my huge hands.

Is she safe to drive? Was out on a country drive and drove approx. 130 miles home, when noticed the oil pressure gauge was reading 80, scared the heck out of me..oil was full, checked several times in route home.
Mileage is 47,000 +/- Thanks

I agree with the rest. Your sensor is shot. My additional advice: Do NOT buy another OEM sending unit, and reinstall the problem. I had my last sending unit go out with under 10,000 miles and 3 years!! There are better units out there. I also wouldn't use a hole saw for easier access. The intake has only 10 (6mm) HHCS, which use a 10mm socket to R&R, iirc.

I just replaced my sensor and opted to extend the wires and plug the new sensor in the front oil galley thinking that would help reduce/eliminate the failure rate. Took it out yesterday for the first drive after installing the new supercharger and the new one failed in the first 10 miles. I'm going to go with the relocated brass Buick sensor and see if that will extend the life. Going to install a manual gauge as well for a sanity check the next time the DIC goes crazy with low pressure warnings.
