You dont have to buy a huge cam to make your car sound radical. Your tuner can adjust your adaptive idle spark control.
You'll love the power of that cam when you jump on it.

Sounds awesome, Nic D is one of the best here in AZ so you can't go wrong with his tune. I remember my first cam package over a year ago, definitely something I should of done sooner. You'll love the sound and power.
One thing you might consider with your cam package is upgraded lifters, LS7 ones at least. Now it hasn't happened to everyone, but it happened to me only after 4 months of running a cam. To make a long story short one of the lifters failed, shattered and pieces bounced around the engine. I thought I was a freak incident but it turns out it has happened to several others. This is because the stronger valve springs on these kits put extra strain on the stock lifters.
Anyway, like I said before. Might not need to upgrade the lifters, but it's a good idea if you're doing everything else and running strong springs. I'm running Comp 926's and they handle a .675 lift so strain on the lifters is a definite thing.

Not installed. Aquiring parts slowly but surely. Just received the cam, picked up trick flow pushrods, and picked up tires, and a centerforce clutch. Just need a slave, and master cylinder and remote bleeder. Debating a underdrive pulley. Decided to spray a 100 shot too. I'm also deciding about ditching my blackwing intake and getting a varam

I had the smaller G5X2 cam with some ported 5.3 heads and put down 469hp with a 6speed trans am. LG cams make some great power. Mine was on a 112 and sounded mean. Good luck with your setup

well guys sorry for such a long time with no update... had to do the cam sooner than i wanted too. was at the track, middle of a brake stand and what i thought was the clutch, went out. i did my cam swap with ALL supporting mods and the clutch. turns out my diff was the culprit. snapped an output shaft in half. part should be here tomorrow...
