Default Corsa Xtreme Question

Hey everyone. I'm looking into getting the Corsa Xtreme, but I keep reading for use with XO pipe only. Whats that about? Its not just an axle back setup like all the others? I'm not really looking to make the install any more difficult because I'm doing in the driveway on jackstands.

Nobody knows why the XO pipe is mandatory?

It's not.. The Xtreme is like any other system, it'll work on a stock H pipe

The X-pipe assists with the exhaust scavenging. It also cuts down on decel popping. I bought an x-pipe when I purchased my Corsa Touring catbacks. It works great!

Do you plan on buying long tube headers? The reason I ask is that AR Headers comes with an x-pipe. So you won't need to buy one with the catbacks.

Thanks for all the info guys. I ended up picking up a used B&B PRT system. Deal was too good to pass up. Still, appreciate the help!
