I'm 6'6" and go about 295lbs these days (and 15W shoe). I am tall in the torso if that makes sense - not particularly long legs for a guy my height. This means leg room is usually not a problem for me but headroom is alway a concern.

In a C6 coupe, I had OK headroom but could feel the roofline behind the targa top against my hair sometimes. No such problem in the vert, but I do occasionally feel the headliner of the vert touch against my hair. I probably have about 1/2" clearance. So...I went with the vert. The headroom was better and, afterall, I have unlimited headroom with the top down!

Leg room is OK for me too but not great. The footwell on the C6 is deep, but the pedals are not mounted all that deep and there is no adjustment. Must be something in the engine bay that prevented a deeper location for the pedals. I'm still comfortable, but I am glad I went with the A6 transmission since working the clutch would have gotten tiresome with the adequate yet limited legroom. Legroom is pretty crappy for me on the passenger side, but I don't plan on being there much!

FYI, I have no problem with seeing the HUD either. Plenty of adjustability.

I also cant decide if the C6 is really as tight inside as it seems, or if its only because Ive been driving a truck for the past year. Any input from you taller types would be much appriciated!!
I'm 6'3" but tall torso. Medicos at Pensacola said my sitting height was 42" (if you fly military, you know what that is; if not, it's butt to top of head) so fighters were out for me. '81 C3 only fit with power seat mashed to floor, and '06 coupe still hit my noggin a bit, but vert was perfect, maybe 2, 2 1/2 inches clearance. Don't know anything about a C5.

I just drove the C6 ("Crush2") home from BG, went 700 miles on last leg, and felt more comfy than the minivan. For me, it fits real nice. And the legroom is great! Planning a trip to Seattle this summer, no worries.

5'8" Not the tallest guy in the squadron, but all my friends who are over six foot at work say it is much easier getting in and out of my 06 compared to my 92 FLY NAVY

So I'm 6'5", where 15 shoe, weigh 285lbs and am proportional (not long legs or long torso - even)
yes and no

telescoping wheel is required else I can't get my hands to turn the wheel (stops at knee)

The seat is always in back and low position. Sometimes I move it forward and lean the seat back a little more.

With a helmet on the back of my helmet hit's the targa support edge. If I had a seat lowering kit or a seat mounted directly to the floor - that would likely not happen!

Otherwise, it's all good!
