Hey man that was one hell of an article in corvette magazine they did on your car (that was you right?)! Anyway you were sorta an inspiration for me, I dropped a procharger in last week and It,s a blast to drive!!!

My '05 is perfect.

If you get a good buy on an '05, I would give it good consideration.

All things being the same, though, buy the newest C6 you can afford.

As much as I'd really love to get a 2006 with the 6 speed automatic, that price difference is hard to swallow. Maybe in a year or two the 06s will fall a little closer in price to the 05s so that it's only a couple of thousand difference though.

But from everything I've read on here, it doesn't seem to me like the 05s are any more troublesome at all.
$47,900 for a used 2005?? that expensive and overpriced. what options or mileage is on it for such a high price?
I got mine with 3 miles on it ordered it from factory at that price or less for brand new 2005.

I hope you're enjoying that car, you got a fantastic deal on it!! I keep wishing someone would drop some money into my lap, there is a smokin deal right now on a loaded white 2006 coupe that someone is selling privately up here. Get this: it's got only 201km on it and he's selling it for $54,900!! Also, Humberview claims to have a Monterey Red 2006 automatic that they are selling for $56,995 (brand new but with zero options) Although the GM website doesn't show any more Monterey Red 2006s out there, so it's possible they sold this car a long time ago but just keep advertising it in the Trader anyways (I've noticed a lot of dealers here do that)

I'm in Canada, so those are Canadian dollars. MSRP on a new one is just over $70,000 here (although you can find them for under $60k new at many dealers here, they discount them big time, nobody pays MSRP, even on the Z06s)
